The Red Clevers
The Red Clevers are a collabrative team of two brothers in arms with a penchant for gritty guitar tones and dynamic sounds. James Slate and Maker Gray have been friends of El Deth since its conception and now fill a much needed void with loud fast paced Rock and Roll. Counting bands such as the Pixies, Husker Du, Television, Neil Young and a few select others as tried and true influences, the two strive to carry the torch of solid Rock and Roll. While in Knoxville, Slate and Gray enlisted the help of Jeremy Bain (of May Gray) and Rhiannon Coloumbe (of Red Cloud) to represent the rhythm section.
Shortly after forming in 2005, Slate and Gray packed up and moved to the midwestern mecca of Chicago where they continue to write songs for their upcoming debut LP.
