Simon Belmont
The great facilitator of the energy around him: Simon Belmont is the latest in state of the art product for El Deth Productions.
At the age of 12, Simon began making mix-tapes of breaks from radio hits on his boom box . Compiling his favorite parts of songs onto one tape, rather than fast forwarding and rewinding said tracks to get to the part he wanted to hear. None of these mix tapes had any type of theme to them, other than what Simon wanted to hear.
In 2002, Simon constructed the Planet Icon Archives, from sampling mp3s in a similar technique as the past, by converting the files to wavs reassembling them into a fifteen minute mix, using cool edit pro.

In the winter of 2004, Simon recorded A Barely Merry Chrismix in his bedroom studio. (a Tascam Porta Studio, and a Minidisc Player/Recorder)
He captured separate takes of the mix on minidisk and remastered them at El Studio under the influence of Arrison Kirby. On Christmas Eve morn, the Chismix was born.
Having released the Chrismix under Arrison's instruction, Mr. Belmont embarked on his next production: Matgo Primo's debut album.
During the recording of Matgo Primo's record, and in the intent of future productions, Simon relocated to El Studio from his home in Maryville, TN.
With the studio at his finger tips, he dove into his next project right along side of Matgo Primo…the production of Per Capita's “Your Silence Will Not Save You”.
Matgo Primo's album is now being mastered, and “Your Silence Will Not Save You” is still under production. Both should be released in 2006.
