Arrison Kirby
Arrison has been fascinated with creating and documenting sound since a very young age. His catalog of recordings dates as far back as 8th grade, although he had been doing it much more frivolously before that. He is a producer and sound artist above all.
His first two full length releases were given for free on the internet due to heavy use of sampled material. The first was called Eye M Ewe and the second was called The Greatest Story Ever Told. For the latter, he enlisted the help of a random assortment of talented musicians, collectively functioning as The Bubble Orchestra.
His current primary project is entitled Part 3. He wrote the songs for it in Nagoya, Nagano and Tokyo, Japan and, in its completion, the work as a whole is meant to reflect the mood of that journey between cities. The album is to be something of a departure from the last two, relying less on samples from other works and more on tonal arrangement. It is also being recorded as a solo endevour, featuring the accompaniment of very few additional musicians.
Additionally, Arrison has produced tracks for several acts including Skippy and the Bellbottoms, Hamilton Ellis, Dire Con and New York's own Skeleton Key. He also fills space in Obadiah. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
